The Department for Education, Children and Young People is repurposing Years 11-12 moderation day scheduled for 15 March 2022 to ensure that schools and teachers can continue their teaching and learning in Term 1 with minimal additional requirements. This means that teachers will not be required to mark and submit ratings for Years 11-12 moderation in Term 1.
Years 9-12 Learning team will provide Colleges and Year 11 and 12 schools who nominated this day as their student-free day with optional online sessions to support development of Common Assessment Tasks to support teaching and learning and planning for September Moderation. Planning will continue to be progressed and reviewed in line with the COVID Operational plans.
