Years 9-12 Learning, the 11-12 team and the DECYP RTO have recently consolidated into two units: Senior Secondary Provision and Vocational Learning.

About Senior Secondary Provision
Senior Secondary Provision is part of the Portfolio Services for Development and Support.
We support the provision of high-quality planned programs of learning in Years 9-12 by:
- supporting effective pedagogy
- providing relevant curriculum and assessment
- supporting transitions and change
- supporting access and equity
- supporting wellbeing for learning
- preparing learners for life and growth
We do this in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and non-government education sectors.
We also work with accrediting bodies to develop future-focused methods of capturing learner capabilities, credentials and qualifications which are valued by industry and the community; and meet national education and training standards.

- Policy, Projects and Communications
Senior Secondary Curriculum, Courses and Assessment
The Senior Secondary Curriculum, Courses and Assessment team provides guidance, services and resources to support curriculum, assessment in schools. Their focus is on:
- Senior Secondary Curriculum and Assessment in Years 11-12
- Complementary Learning Programs in Years 9-10
- Digital Inclusion, including Virtual Learning Tasmania (VLT)
Regional Partnerships and Data
The Regional Partnerships and Data team focuses on the following key areas:
- Regional Partnerships
- Transition and Career Education
- Retention and Attainment Data.
Policy, Projects and Communications
The Policy, Projects and Communications team is focused on key areas related to:
- Youth Participation Database (YPD)
- Senior Secondary Policy
- Communications.
