Newly accredited Senior Secondary Courses have been reviewed by the DECYP as part of the course implementation strategy.
- Newly developed courses are those that were first available in 2022 and 2023 (Phase 2 Review); and 2024 (Phase 1 Review).
Course Review Surveys were undertaken during August, inviting teacher feedback. Feedback was also gathered through moderation and directly from TASC and Senior Secondary Provision throughout the year.
DECYP collaborated with Subject Matter Experts in October to review the feedback and provide guidance on proposed amendments to the courses.
- Amendments are currently being processed by TASC.
Updated course documents will be available through the DECYP Communities of Practice once TASC confirms the amendments for each course.
- This interim access will help teachers plan for 2025 until the updated course documents are available on the TASC website.
