Six new Applied Capability Qualifications (ACQs) have been recognised by TASC as Formal Learning for use from 2024. These qualifications replace the previous General Capability Short Qualifications.
The new ACQs are:
- aligned with employability skills and real-world contexts and would be appropriate to include on a student’s resume
- asynchronous and self-paced and are nominally 20 hours in size, attaining 2 TCE credit points on successful completion
- designed for Years 9 to 12 students and are available to Department for Education, Children and Young People, Catholic Education Tasmania and Independent Schools Tasmania schools.
